ISLAMABAD: Banks are in the process of submitting applications for the government Hajj scheme.

According to the details, the Joint Secretary Hajj said in a statement regarding Hajj 2022 that 14 thousand 247 Hajj applications have been received in two days through banks, while Hajj applications will be received by Friday, May 13.

He said that Saudi Arabia has not given the details of the obligatory Hajj expenses, the expenses will be announced after receiving the details of the obligatory Hajj expenses.

It should be noted that the collection of Hajj applications has started from May 9, which will be submitted to 14 nominated banks by May 13. There will be a draw on Hajj applications on May 15. A token of Rs. 50,000 must be submitted with each application.

The Hajj package of the government scheme for Government Hajj 2022 has not been released yet, the Ministry of Religious Affairs had started accepting online applications due to non-availability of Saudi teachings.

This year Hajj expenses under government scheme can be Rs 7 to 10 lakh, Hajj quota under private Hajj scheme has not been decided yet, Hajj expenses through private Hajj tour operators can be Rs 14 lakh or more.
