During an interview with Hauterrfly, Sanya Malhotra said, ‘When I was coming out of college, it used to be 7-8 o’clock and it has happened many times that people have followed me. Once I left university, I took the tube from Green Park. I was on the subway and there were four or five guys. Women come to know that now something is not going to be right. I stayed silent because I was alone. If someone is with you, then you get courage.

Sanya Malhotra further said, ‘After this, he started making fun of me and then started touching me. She was powerless and I thought that if she talked too much, anything could happen in this situation. People say how did you find out? Why didn’t you do anything? But when you are in such a situation, your hands and feet get swollen. At that moment it seems that somehow you are saved.

The actress further said: ‘Nobody helped me on the subway. However, I was also struggling. I got off at Rajeev Chowk and then I started running and those guys started following me. Those guys were 6.2 feet tall. Thank God there are a lot of people in Rajiv Chowk and I survived.
