The emoji selection menu on the WhatsApp it is currently under remodeling. Meanwhile, users of the Android messaging app can now take advantage of this new, more attractive look, where it becomes much easier to find the perfect emoji.
The measure facilitates the choice and selection of the appropriate symbol (emoji) for each context and each conversation by introducing important changes in this selection menu. It will be, by all indications, one of the most significant visual and functional changes in recent months in this instant messaging application.
More intuitive experience to choose emojis in WhatsApp

Although at the moment this novelty is not available to all users of the application, the truth is that it will soon reach Android devices around the world. By the way, it is expected that it is not too late to reach iPhone users, in the iOS version of the app.
Thanks to the research work of the publication WABetaInfo We can already see what this same menu will be like. The problem is the screenshot shared below by the cited source. The biggest news? Basically, we will have tabs at the top for different categories of emoji.
This will make it easier to access different types and categories of these visual communication elements. Something that will work for both WhatsApp stickers, emojis, and GIFs to access different content directly.
Until now, it should be noted that these items were found at the bottom of the menu dedicated to emojis for WhatsApp. Now, we will have the section/category at the top of that same bar when opening the section in question.
Plain side carousel in android app
In addition, we no longer have an organization in a carousel format, the user being able to make a Commute side, browse to find the various emojis available. Instead, we will have several shortcut categories for emojis.
In short, we now have a vertical arrangement of these figures to illustrate our messages, divided by categories, in order to facilitate their use on the communication platform.
In my opinion, based on these screenshots, the organization actually looks simpler and nicer. Now, of course, we can only wait for its arrival in the stable version of the application for Android and, later, also for iOS (iPhone).
