WhatsApp prepares novelties that will delight all users

WhatsApp is the leading instant communication platform on the market and has millions of active users. Faced with such popularity, those responsible never put an end to the process of improving the benefits it offers.

The following has just been revealed by WABetainfo and shows the possibility of editing messages already sent. An increasingly popular option that will surely appeal to all those who use WhatsApp on a daily basis.

Soon it will be possible to edit the messages sent by WhatsApp

This is not the first time we have heard that WhatsApp is preparing to allow editing of sent messages. We already talked about this last June, but now WABetainfo shows that this option has not been abandoned.

The publication with a strong connection to WhatsApp designs pointed out the presence of this novelty in version 2.22.20.12 of the Android application. In it we see the first concrete proof of the incorporation of this novelty to this communication platform.

As you can see in the image above, it will now be possible to edit the messages sent through WhatsApp. It will be ideal whenever there is an error or incorrect wording in a message sent to one of your contacts.

It is also important to note that the edition of the messages sent will depend on the installation of the latest version of WhatsApp. In fact, the application will notify you of this fact whenever a message has been edited and if the receiver or sender does not have the latest version of the app installed.

Even so, many details remain to be clarified about this highly appreciated novelty. There will surely be more dependencies for the functionality of this novelty that will have to be clarified when it is officially launched for all users.

Sent message editing comes to WhatsApp after other popular platforms added a similar feature. The most recent case is Apple’s iMessage which, with the availability of iOS 16, now allows its users to edit messages previously sent to their contacts.

It should be noted that this feature appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android. Its availability in the stable version and for all users still has no known date.
