Whatsapp extended the time limit to delete messages for everyone participants in a conversation.
Currently, the option delete for all it only works for messages that are about an hour old, but you will soon be able to delete messages that are up to 36 hours old.
To be precise, the Delete for All option was previously limited to one hour, eight minutes and sixteen seconds. With this change, is extended to two days and twelve hours. This implies that users will be able to delete a message even after it has been delivered.
Successfully deleted messages for everyone will be replaced with “This message has been deleted”. When a message is deleted, the mention “This message has been deleted” appears in the chat.
This feature was first discovered in testing in July and is now coming to official versions, according to the company’s official account. On twitter.
