It is possible that the WhatsApp application is working on a new function that will allow you to pause the recording of voice messages.
The new functionality may arrive in the next update, in a first phase, in beta version for Android and iOS users.
WhatsApp’s new feature lets you resume voice recording in the same second it stopped
It is possible that the WhatsApp application is working on a new function to record voice messages. According to the WABetaInfo website, the feature may be available in the next application update.
The new feature will allow users to pause the recording of a voice memo and resume recording in exactly the same second it was stopped. The same source said that this feature will be available, at the same time, for Android and iOS users, although for now it will come in the form of a beta version.
The WABetaInfo website also made available a video, showing how the new feature works. As we can see, the operation is simple and intuitive.
After recording a part of the message, users will have access to another record button that will allow them to resume the message, at the precise moment they left it.
WhatsApp is optimizing the audio messaging functions
The application seems to be working to optimize the functions of the recorded voice messages. Recently, several international websites reported that WhatsApp is also developing another feature related to audio messages.
This other feature will allow users to listen to an audio message of a conversation while replying, via text message, to another person in a different conversation or group. This resource may also be available initially in a beta version.
