New image and video editing tools in WhatsApp for Android

On this occasion, the company will launch new tools to edit images and videos on the popular conversation platform. But be careful because only Android users will have access to these new features.
According to the WABetaInfo website, on 2.22.3.5. It is now available in beta for all Android devices and has new brushes and a function to blur images. But let’s get into more details.
Three new brushes that can be very useful
With this update, users now have access to three new brushes, under the drawing resource option. They come in different dimensions – slim, medium, wide – and can be very useful for retouching the colors in images, from a small tint to a wide band of strong color.
Obviously, native smartphone photo editors have this option, but it will certainly be easier to access the tool directly from the application.
Blur option is now available for Android
This feature is not exactly new, as it is already available for iOS devices. We are talking about the blur functionality that allows you to reduce the visibility of a part or the entire image or even a video.
As we have already mentioned, this is a feature that iOS users already use in their chat platform app, but now Android users are also covered with the functionality.
For now, the novelty is only available in the beta version of the new update, but soon it will be able to reach all users of Android devices.
