WhatsApp is finally testing the most anticipated feature

It is even possible to have WhatsApp fully functional on your computer without WhatsApp on your smartphone being connected to the Internet. But so far, anyone with a secondary smartphone or tablet has been left out.

In WhatsApp beta version 2.22.10.13 it was discovered that it will soon be possible to register an Android smartphone as a secondary device for your main smartphone using WhatsApp.

As you can see in the images, this new section is renamed “Register Device as Partner”. There we see explained that the feature allows you to use WhatsApp on another device.

As it is already done to connect WhatsApp to a computer, the user will have to scan a QR code from the main device. And as well as being able to connect it to a tablet, it even seems possible to connect it to a secondary Android smartphone.

We are curious to see how the whole process will work. For now it is just a test, but it is expected that this novelty will reach all users in the near future.
