Mark Zuckenberg continues his task of renaming the old Facebook company, now known as Meta. This time, it’s the apps for Android and iOS devices that start to show the Meta logo and name.

The new look comes in the form of an update for the aforementioned apps, but it is unclear if it will be the only update included. On the other hand, it is impossible not to notice the new logo and name, since both are immediately displayed on the home screens of each application.

It is recalled that recently Mark Zuckenberg announced that the Facebook company was going to be renamed and changed to Meta. This action is intended for the company to better reflect the current focus and investment in the metaverse universe and for the Facebook brand to only be assigned to the social network.

For its part, Microsoft also announced that it is working on products related to the Metaverse, introducing its Virtual Reality Mesh collaborative platform and 3D avatars for the Teams application.

Simultaneously, an information leak revealed what could be one of the first Metaverse teams from the revamped Meta. We refer to the Meta smartwatch that will be launched next year and which stands out from its rivals by the integration of a front camera.
