WhatsApp facilitates payments through the messaging application with WhatsApp Pay

The most popular instant communications platform in the world through the Internet, WhatsApp, has in the system Pay by WhatsApp one of your most recent assets. This function, as the name implies, can be used to receive or send money through the application.

Your developers will now have included a new shortcut that will simplify this process throughout the application. In fact, there is a new button to streamline the use of this payment system, facilitating the quick transfer of funds through the platform.

However, it is an experimental feature, available only in the beta version of the Android app. As mentioned in the post WABetaInfoAlways attentive to the designs of this Facebook group platform, the news can now be tested.

More specifically, anyone who has joined the trial program, a simple and free procedure, can test WhatsApp version 2.21.17. By installing this version, you will be able to take advantage of this new payment shortcut.

However, please note that the WhatsApp Pay system is only available in some countries and regions, namely Brazil and India. as the platform points out. However, the intention of the company is to increase the availability of the system in question.

The new payment shortcut is also available in the beta version of iOS.

Until then, to use WhatsApp Pay, users had to access chat actions and only then could they send a payment through the app. From now on, if the features that are now being tested reach the stable version, there will be a dedicated shortcut for that.

It should be noted that the WhatsApp Pay system was built on the basis of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) platform. This is the same base that, for example, Google uses with its Google Pay system. It is particularly safe and easy to use.

For those interested in the beta version of this instant communication platform, there is another trial version available now. More specifically, version for Android mobile devices.

Finally, it should be noted that even in Brazil the WhatsApp Pay system is a pilot program. Therefore, it is in its initial testing and feedback phase to find out its usage rate as well as user opinions.

On the other hand, in India it is already a more popular payment platform, competing with other well-established options such as the aforementioned example of Google Pay. Unfortunately, there is no forecast for its availability in Europe.
