The Anduva team has made an important announcement regarding the departure of one of its players who arrived on loan last summer. Santiago Homenchenko will be saying goodbye to the team for personal reasons.
Details of Homenchenko’s Departure
Homenchenko had played 19 games with the team, with only five being as a starter. He accumulated just over 500 minutes and scored one goal during his time with Mirandés. The goal was scored in a Copa del Rey match against Sant Andreu. The player has already returned to Uruguay.
Acknowledgement from the Club
“Club Deportivo Mirandés appreciates Santi’s commitment and behavior during his time in the team and wishes him the best of luck in his future projects, both personal and professional,” the club stated.
Impact of the Changes on Coach Lisci
The departure of Homenchenko, combined with the injury of Unai Egiluz, is adding to Coach Alessio Lisci’s challenges. Egiluz suffered a muscle injury to the hamstring muscles of his right leg, and the recovery time is pending the evolution of the injury.
Additional Absences for the Upcoming Match
Besides the loss of Homenchenko and the injury of Egiluz, the team will also face the absence of Lachuer and Parada due to suspension for the next match against Málaga in Anduva.
