Now, the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station advances that the first smartphones equipped with the new chip hit the market in mid-November. But which brand will win this race? Both Xiaomi and Motorola are well positioned to launch the first flagship with Qualcomm’s superior processor on the market during the month of November.

But beware, the Chinese market will be the first, and in an initial phase the only one, to make smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 available to end users. It will happen during the year 2022.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and other surprises

The leaker Evan Blass has already shared, on the social network Twitter, some of the specifications that we can expect to see in the next top of the range from Motorola. According to the leaker, the Edge 40 Pro, codenamed Canyon, will be the model that will integrate the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

But the good news doesn’t stop there. According to Evan Blass, this version will have a screen with Full HD + resolution and a high refresh rate of 165 Hz.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro will also have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 12-megapixel resolution telephoto sensor.
