According to NASA’s Earth Observatory satellites, the coldest place on Earth is a mountain range on the East Antarctic Plateau, where temperatures can drop to minus 93 in winter.
In 2013, this place in East Antarctica was declared the “coldest place on earth”.
Even with special protective clothing it is difficult to stay here for more than a few minutes as a person can die of frostbite in just 2 minutes.
