What is the significance of KL Rahul’s removal from vice captaincy? Rohit Sharma replied

KL Rahul remains the topic of discussion ahead of the Indore test against Australia which begins on Wednesday. The question on the minds of Indian cricket fans is whether Rahul, who is going through a bad form, will get a place in game 11 or not. Rahul’s chances of getting a place have also diminished as he was removed from vice-captain for the last two Tests. Just one day before the match, captain Rohit Sharma has given the reason for KL Rahul’s removal of the vice-captain.

KL Rahul was appointed vice-captain of the team in the first two tests. But Rahul couldn’t show any amazement with the bat. After this, the selectors kept him on the team, but they took away his vice-captain. Rohit Sharma broke his silence on the matter, saying, “There is no point in removing KL Rahul from the vice-captaincy. This thing should not be given much importance.”

It is clear from Rohit Sharma’s statement that KL Rahul has the full support of the captain and the direction of the team in bad times. However, the question remains the continuation of KL Rahul in the 11 game. Trainer Rahul Dravid has spent a lot of time with Shubman Gill during the practice session. In such a situation, it is speculated that Gill, who is racing in excellent form, can replace Rahul in the third round.
