Riyadh: Saudi Arabia will reduce the number of recruitment agencies to 500 in the next two years.
According to Arab media reports, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare says the number of recruitment agencies in the kingdom will drop from 1,500 to 500 in the next two years.
The Labor Ministry said the number of recruitment agencies would be reduced to that of recruitment companies.
The recruitment epidemic in Saudi Arabia has affected the recruitment sector, as well as other sectors, and companies and agencies have suffered huge economic losses.
On the other hand, sources said that the contracting companies have raised the issue of the deficit with the founding shareholders.
It should be noted that the recruitment agencies in the country faced more difficulties and economic losses due to problems that included the high cost of tickets, refunds and reimbursement of fares.
