Renowned freestyler Majestic died on a Mexican beach after taking part in an improv event.
24-year-old Óscar Alan Vázquez Díaz took part in a rap competition at the Rufino Tamayo Ecological Park (Oaxaca) on Sunday, February 18; but I decided to use the trip to enjoy the tourist attractions of the place.
So on Monday he decided to go with some friends to the bay of La Entrega, where he was swept away by the strong waves that pushed him out to sea, where he ultimately lost his life.
Lifeguards reportedly attempted to help Majestic, but when they pulled him from the water he no longer had vital signs.
Fire department paramedics attempted to revive him, but those efforts were unsuccessful.
Friends and the entire freestyle world mourned the rapper, one of them being the well-known comedian Franco Escamilla.
“I wake up to the news that Maje was ahead of us. My condolences go out to his family and friends and I wish them a speedy retirement. RIP Majestic, the free are in mourning,” he said on his X account.
For her part, Majestic’s girlfriend Marlenne Avedaño dedicated a message to him on Instagram, remembering the good times they spent together as a couple.
“I love you, my love, I love you completely, thank you for allowing me to love you and love me. You have saved my life so many times. Fly high, miakr, see you another time. “I know,” said the young woman.
Who was Majestic?
Óscar Alan Vázquez was a prominent figure in freestyle and competed in the Freestyle Master Series (FMS), where he competed against renowned figures in Mexican rap.
Majestic was born in Iztapalapa (Mexico City) and showed great improvisational skills from a young age.
In this way, this young man gained more and more fame in the world by participating in various tournaments and gaining the support of the public.
However, his greatest success came in 2023 when he finished second at the Red Bull Nacional of Mexico by losing the final to Yoiker.
At this tournament he managed to beat prominent freestylers such as Rapder, Dexo and Saushino.
This made him one of the most promising MCs in Mexican rap.
