According to the senior officer of Indian Railways, the first tilting train is starting in India, but what is this tilting train?
According to the Indian media report, India is moving towards development in terms of technology, now preparations are being made to run a tilting train in India.
The tilting train is engineered in such a way that it can take turns at high speed on regular tracks, just like a motorcycle takes turns on the road.
The ‘Vande Bharat’ train to be manufactured in India will be launched from 2025, this train will be equipped with the tilting train technology which will improve the speed of the train.
Till now only 11 countries around the world have the tilting train, including Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Switzerland, China, Germany and Romania.
The official of Indian Railways said in this context that we will have tilting trains in the country, we will enter into an agreement with a technology partner for this. We will use this technology in 100 Vande Bharat trains in the next two to three years.
Indian Railways has explored various options for tilting trains in the past, but has never finalized a deal.
