WrestleMania 39 is the big event this weekend and in ACE we will remember one of the most outstanding fighters in the history of the event: ‘The undertaker‘. This fighter had the longest career in WWE since he was part of the company from 1990 to 2020.
Plus, being a WWE Hall of Famer since 2022,’The Undertaker’ was a four-time WWE Championthree-time World Heavyweight Champion, six-time Tag Team Championship winner and won the 2007 Royal Rumble.
‘The Undertaker’ was born on March 24, 1965 in Houston, Texas under the name of Mark William Calaway. During his high school years, He was part of the Waltrip High School football and basketball team. He had talent on the court, as well as being 6-10, and he considered playing basketball professionally in Europe before devoting himself fully to professional wrestling.
Before being the ‘Undertaker’, Calaway wrestled in companies other than the WWF, which would become WWE in 1990.under various pseudonyms, including Mean Mark Callous, Master of Pain and The Punisher.

‘The Undertaker’ he fought 27 times in WWE’s biggest event and only lost twice. The most surprising thing about it is that he spun 21 wins until he was defeated by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. The second defeat of the ‘Undertaker’ was given by Roman Reigns, the flagship man of the company’s present via pinfall.
In edition 22, Calaway won the only match in WWE history in which victory was achieved by putting his opponent in a coffin. Surprisingly, he managed to get Mark Henry into the coffin.
The last match of the ‘Undertaker’s career was the Boneyard Match at Wrestlemania 36. There, ‘The Grim Reaper’ buried AJ Styles. The hallmark of his journey in WWE were the terrifying entries alluding to taking care of the funerals of his rivals.

After retiring with a high note, ‘The Undertake’ was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 along with Vader, Queen Sharmell and the Steiner Brothers.
Politics has been a part of Calaway’s life outside the ring. In November 2020, David Meltzer reported that the former WWE Champion made several donations to Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.
