India’s victory in the 2023 Asia Cup is being talked about everywhere. Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj played an important role in helping India win the Asia Cup title. Siraj picked up four wickets in the fourth over of the innings. After that, he took the 5th wicket in the sixth over and the sixth wicket in the 12th over. Siraj showed Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Samarawickrama, Asalanka, Dhananjay de Silva and Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka the way to the pavilion. Thanks to this brilliant bowling from Siraj, India defeated Sri Lanka by 50 runs in 15.2 overs.
In response, India won the title match by reaching the target in 6.1 overs without losing a wicket. In the opener for India, Shubman Gill scored 23* runs with the help of 3 fours and Ishan Kishan scored 27* runs with the help of 6 fours.
Notably, Mohammad Siraj is a player who plays all three formats for India. So far he has played 21 Tests, 29 ODIs and 8 T20 international matches. He has taken 59 wickets in Test, 53 in ODI and 11 wickets in T20 International. Siraj made his international debut in November 2017.
