MySmartPrice has shared the battery capacity of all four iPhone 15/15 Pro series phones and appears in a Chinese regulatory database.
According to this data, the four iPhone models of 2023 were equipped with it Batteries from 3,349 mAh to 4,422 mAh.
Last year, the iPhone 14 Plus narrowly overtook the iPhone 14 Pro Max to become the iPhone with the largest battery in the device’s history. But this year that title belongs to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
iPhone 15 battery capacities
These are the iPhone 15 series battery capacity numbers:
- iPhone 15: 3,349 mAh, 12,981 Wh, +2.1% more than the iPhone 14
- iPhone 15 Plus: 4,383 mAh, 16,950 Wh +1.3% more than the iPhone 14 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro: 3,274 mAh, 12,700 Wh +2.3% more than the iPhone 14 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4,422 mAh, 17,109 Wh +2.3% more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max
It should be noted that the new iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models are expected to feature improved battery life thanks to the 3nm A17 Pro chip. Apple’s deal with TSMC all but guarantees that the two iPhone 15 Pro devices will be the only smartphones with a 3nm SoC this year.
According to Apple, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are capable of playing videos for 20 and 25 hours, respectively. For the Pro models, the iPhone 15 Pro can play videos for 23 hours, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max battery can play videos for 29 hours.
Apple also recommends using a 20W charger for all four phones. They also support up to 15W MagSafe wireless charging and 7.5W Qi wireless charging.
