New Delhi: Well-known and prominent poet of Urdu language Manoor Rana is admitted to the hospital due to unwellness.
According to Indian media reports, Manoor Rana has been seriously ill for the past one week and is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital in Lucknow.
From the CT scan, it was found that his stomach ruptured, due to which the infection spread throughout the body, the doctors performed an urgent operation to save his life, but due to the operation, his condition worsened and he was transferred to the ICU.
Munoor Rana’s son Tabrez Rana told the media that due to continuous care, his father’s condition has improved, the reports are good. Doctors have expressed hope that the reports show that he will be taken off the ventilator soon.
It should be noted that Manwar Rana is a reliable and popular name in the world of Urdu literature, he has made his name not only in Urdu but also in Hindi poetry.
Manwar Rana’s poem on ‘Mother’ is quite famous. His ghazals are also in Hindi, Bangla (Bengali) and Gurmukhi languages.
