Hackers have the Dutch crypto influencer Didi Taihuttu last night $100 thousand in altcoins and NFTs stolen. In a tweet, the famous bitcoiner reports that he was hacked last night via a so-called phishing scam. The hackers then drained his altcoin wallet with a drainer.
Taihuttu victim of drainer
Taihuttu became famous in the Dutch crypto world after he sold his companies and assets in 2016 sold for bitcoin (BTC). While traveling as a nomad with his family, his wealth in bitcoins grew to a fortune. Taihuttu then decided to maintain the nomadic life and to live only on what bitcoin brings him. In the meantime, Taihuttu is building its own online community called ‘The Bitcoin Family‘.
Unfortunately for him, Taihuttu’s fortune has shrunk to $100K in altcoins and NFTs overnight. Are staked coins his way, as well as his NFTs and some altcoins he had at the hacked address. For the job, the hackers have the infamous Inferno Drainer used. Most likely, the hackers didn’t even have to hack Taihuttu’s address themselves.
!!!FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!
After 10 years in this industry I have been hacked/phished for the first time! 🤬
I don’t know how but the strange thing is that it happened when I was still asleep.
They used this drainer https://t.co/n2iRG3ONZl and took over 100k USD in total.

This drainer is getting bad widely used as a ‘service’ to hack relatively small amounts of crypto. Hackers try to find out sensitive data of the victim through highly realistic phishing websites. The data is then passed on to the makers of the drainer. They then perform the hack for 20% of the loot.
Twitter user 0xSaiyan Elite came across the creators of the drainer while investigating the origins of several hacks. He found out that there is a large group of hackers who communicate with each other via Telegram. The Telegram channel is being rolled up’when we speak‘.
Bitcoin fortune not hacked
Taihuttu is devastated and wrote in his tweet that he needs some hours first would sleep to process things. It is the first time he has been hacked in his ten years in the crypto industry. Taihuttu’s Bitcoin fortune has remained undamaged, but all his other investments are gone. According to Taihuttu, the crypto industry is becoming more and more “toxic.” He does admit that the hack is partly his fault, since he had secured his altcoin wallet a lot less well than his bitcoin wallet. After a few hours of sleep, Taihuttu seems to have recovered somewhat from the shock. In a tweet he comes with the message:
“The best way to brighten yourself up is to try to brighten up someone else.”
