“We cannot accept responsibility for anyone’s loss.”

The ongoing political unrest in the country is affecting the film industry. Due to the strike, producers and makers postponed the release date of the film. For this reason, no new film has been released in the last two weeks. Old films are shown in the cinemas.

However, there is also a lack of visitors, said the owners.

As per the rules, new films are released every Friday. However, it was found that no film was released on the last two Fridays.

Fuad Chowdhury’s film Meghna Kanya was scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, November 17.

The film is about how the shackles of two women from the village and the city are broken through the trafficking of women. The film was supposed to be released but was not released. Postponed at the last minute.

Likewise, Badrul Anam Soud’s film Shyama Kavya was scheduled to hit theaters on Friday.

The campaign started a week and a half ago. However, the release date was postponed four to five days before the release announcement. In a video message on Facebook last Sunday evening, the producer said that the release of “Shyama Kavya” has been postponed for now. Strikes and blockades occur even as people leave their homes to go to work. But various destructive activities also take place during the strike blockade.
We will ask people to come to the hall when the film hits theaters. But at the moment we can’t ask people to come to the cinema. We are not liable for any losses. That’s why I’m moving the release date to November 24th.
