We already know which was the best-selling smartphone in the world in April

The Counterpoint company has just published its report that reveals the best-selling smartphone worldwide in April.

As expected, the iPhone 13 takes the crown of king of the segment and Apple the title of best-selling brand with five smartphones present in this top 10.

Apple and Samsung occupy nine of the ten positions in the top of best sellers

Counterpoint has just published its Global Monthly Handset Sales Tracker report, corresponding to the month of April, which accounts for the best-selling smartphones worldwide. The top 10 is dominated by Apple and Samsung, with 10th place being the exception to the rule with the Redmi Note 11 LTE model.

But, without a doubt, the great winner of the month of April is Apple. The iPhone 13 wins the title of best-selling smartphone in that month, with a market share of 5.5%.

In second and third place, Apple returns with the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, which obtain 3.4% and 1.8% market share, respectively. And in fourth place is, once again, Apple with the iPhone 12, which obtained a market share of 1.6% and whose sales increased in the Japanese and Indian markets.

Only in the fifth position do we find a direct competitor of Apple. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G achieved a market share of 1.5%, immediately followed by the Galaxy A13 with 1.4% of sales.

Xiaomi manages to occupy the 10th position of the best sellers with a Redmi model

In seventh place, again Apple with its affordable iPhone SE 2022 smartphone that achieved a 1.4% market share, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy A03 that occupies the eighth position.

The ninth position is also occupied by Samsung with its A53 5G model, which achieved a market share of 1.3%.
Finally, in the last and tenth position of this top of the best sellers of April, is Xiaomi. Interestingly, with a Redmi model, more specifically the Note 11 LTE which, like the Samsung A53, also had a 1.3% market share.

Data on global smartphone sales in April this year now released shows that Apple remains the market leader. The Cupertino company has recorded good results in the Chinese market, which is characterized as one of the largest in the world.
