The first trailer for the highly anticipated Bollywood movie Shamshera is out. With this film, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen on the big screen for the first time after four years. His last movie was 2018’s Sanju.
The film tells the story of a bandit (Ranbir Kapoor) who leads his “tribe” in rebellion against a villain (Sanjay Dutt). Shamshera is projected as a sort of messiah-like figure. He is the one who leads the attack across vast deserts and wields a pickaxe against his opponents.
Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, is directed by Karan Malhotra and will be released on July 22.
