Warriors dispose of Bameso, extend undefeated in LVS

The Warriors of Santo Domingo Este extended their undefeated to five consecutive victories after having the Bameso Bulldogs in three sets, during the resumption of the Superior Volleyball League (LVS) this Monday.

The triumph, 25-15, 25-21, 18-25, 25-17, keeps the Warriors at the top (5-0) of the men’s branch, while the Bulldogs are in third position (1-4 ) of the fair that takes place with resounding success in the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Palace, of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.

The victory was based on the effectiveness of the serve, combined with a poor reception from Bameso’s team.

The Bamesians tried to take flight by winning the third set, but that was not enough to stop the performance of Héctor Alexis Cruz, who finished the match with 18 points.

Cruz was escorted by his teammates Franklin Segura, with 17 goals and Alberto Díaz with 13.

For those defeated, the best on offense were Gerson Ezequiel Toribio, with 23 points and Félix Romero finished with 10.

“Today’s game (yesterday) was great, one of the things that has allowed us to remain undefeated is unity. We try to maintain good communication on and off the court and that has been key to our participation in the league, “said Cruz, who is the scorer with the best balance of points per game so far this tournament.
