Warner may have a great idea, Cricket Australia considering removing leadership ban

Big news has emerged about Australia’s star batsman, David Warner. In light of David Warner’s change, Cricket Australia is considering him taking over. Cricket Australia has called a meeting to review the leadership ban imposed on David Warner. Cricket Australia imposed this ban on David Warner after the ball tampering controversy.

Australian media have expressed the hope of lifting David Warner’s leadership ban. According to Australian media reports, “Cricket Australia is considering lifting the ban on David Warner. There will be a meeting of the board members on this. At this meeting David Warner’s life ban may be lifted.

David Warner was found guilty of handling the ball with Bancroft and Steve Smith in the 2018 match against South Africa. Following this, Cricket Australia banned David Warner and Steve Smith for one year. In addition to this, Cricket Australia made it clear that David Warner will not be the vice-captain of the team captain going forward. This ban on Steve Smith was imposed for two years.

However, Steve Smith’s ban ended in March 2020. But even after this, Cricket Australia did not consider making Steve Smith captain again. Cricket Australia, however, made Steve Smith the vice-captain of the test team last year.

But now, Cricket Australia’s new move points towards a big change in the team. Limited overs team captain Finch’s performance has not lived up to expectations. It may also happen that at this year’s T20 World Cup Warner will be seen taking the reins of the team.
