In several cities of the world they responded yesterday to the call Show Your Stripes Dayin order to display the stripes that refer to the increase in temperature as an effect of the climate crisis.
The vertical colored bars show the progressive warming of our planet and were created in 2018 by Professor Ed Hawkins, a climatologist at the University of Reading and the National Center for Atmospheric Sciences.
In 2022, millions of people saw the stripes at the Reading Festival and London Fashion Week and started conversations about climate change.
