The fourth season of the professional swimming league (ISL) will not take place in 2022. The organization announced in a press release on Sunday March 27 that it was postponing its season 4 to 2023, due to the war in Ukraine. . As a reminder, the ISL was founded in 2019 by Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Grigorishin.
“The war in Ukraine is a tragedy. It has destroyed lives, families and homes. Several of our colleagues remain trapped in kyiv, and the conflict seems to be continuing over time”justifies the press release.

“Faced with this situation of force majeure, we cannot, in good faith towards our swimmers and our fans, commit to organizing commercial matches in 2022.” Season 4 was originally scheduled to take place between June and December 2022.
