War in Ukraine: “several explosions” shook kyiv on Sunday morning, announces the mayor of the city

The Ukrainian capital is shaking again. The mayor of kyiv reported on Sunday, June 5, “several explosions in the Darnytsky and Dniprovsky districts of the city” early morning. “Services are shutting down” fire in this eastern part of the capital, said Vitali Klitschko, in a message on Telegram. “The Aggressor [russe] continues to launch missiles and conduct airstrikes on the military and civilian infrastructure of our country, especially in Kyiv”confirmed the staff of the Ukrainian army, on its Facebook page.

The capital, around which the Russian noose loosened at the end of March at the beginning of April, was notably hit on April 28, the day of the visit of the Secretary General of the UN Antonio Guterres. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, “five missiles” had then descended on kyiv. Air raid warnings sounded in many other cities across the country overnight from Saturday to Sunday.
