War in Ukraine: Russian border areas increasingly affected by projectiles

Kosovo: tension remains high against the Serbian minority

On the night of Tuesday May 30, a drone just fell on the Il’Skii refinery in the Krasnodar region, triggering a gigantic fire. 1,000 kilometers further north, the Belgorod region received no less than 260 mortar and artillery fire on Tuesday 30 May. The Kremlin immediately accused Ukraine of being behind the attacks. A denied version as is systematically the case when Russia is affected.

The frequently targeted Belgorod region

The common point between all the strikes is that it is located in the border areas with Ukraine and particularly targets the Belgorod region, especially last week when soldiers entered Russian territory.

As a sign of the growing anxiety, 300 children had to be evacuated from their localities, which had been hit several times.
