The censor board, a group that reviews films before release, recently took a close look at the film.

Snips and Adjustments for the Big Screen
Reports from Bollywood Hungama confirm that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked for a few tweaks. Some dialogues were flagged as inappropriate. The board ordered these lines to be muted in the film.
In total, six dialogue changes were made. Plus, a specific hand gesture shown by a character was also removed. This gesture appeared about a minute after a controversial line. One particularly vulgar dialogue was also replaced. After all these changes, ‘War 2’ received a U/A 16+ certificate. This means it’s suitable for viewers aged 16 and above.
Kiara Advani’s Scene Under the Scanner
The CBFC also found some visual scenes to be too “sensitive.” They asked the filmmakers to reduce these parts. About nine seconds of sensual footage was removed from the movie. Many believe these cuts were made to Kiara Advani’s bikini scene.
A Shorter, Sharper Experience
Interestingly, the film’s total run time also changed, but this wasn’t due to the censor board. The filmmakers themselves decided to trim the movie. Originally, ‘War 2’ was 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 49 seconds long. The team cut it down to 2 hours, 51 minutes, and 44 seconds. They wanted to make the film feel tighter and more exciting for the audience.
A Clash of Titans
In ‘War 2,’ Hrithik Roshan reprises his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal. Jr. NTR joins the cast as Vikram, another Indian spy. Moviegoers can expect an epic confrontation between these two characters. Their clash is set to be a major highlight of the film.
