Wall Street closes scattered for a good week

The New York Stock Exchange closed this Friday dispersed, after the first business results and at the end of a week with a good countenance due to the decline in inflation in the United States.

The Dow Jones industrial index gained 0.3% to 34,509.03 points, the Nasdaq technology index fell 0.2% to close at 14,113.70 points and the expanded S&P 500 index lost 0.1% to 4,505.42 points, although it rose 2, 4% during the week.

After closing higher for four straight days on cooling US inflation numbers, Friday’s mixed session “was to be expected,” said Adam Sarhan of 50 Park Investments.

Stocks advanced with strong gains earlier in the week after the release of consumer price data, which encouraged the idea that the Federal Reserve (Fed, central bank) will soon cut its policy of raising interest rates.
