Walker strikes out 10, Starling Marte has two hits and Mets beat Angels

JD Davis and Pete Alonso homered, Taijuan Walker struck out 10 and the New York Mets wrapped up their long trip to California with a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday.

For the Mets, the Dominican Marte 4-2 with one run scored and one produced. Puerto Ricans Francisco Lindor and Tomás Nido, both 4-0. The Venezuelan Eduardo Escobar 5-0.

For the Angels, the Dominican Juan Lagares 4-0. The Venezuelan Luis Rengifo 1-0
