Wakanda Forever: Letitia Wright returned to the set

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever finally resumes filming after several long weeks of interruption. Troubled after the death of Chadwick Boseman in August 2020 consequences of colon cancer, Marvel had announced to refocus the story on shuri, the sister of T’Challa to implement Black Panther 2. Only, during a filming on a stunt platform in Boston last August, the 28-year-old actress was seriously injured (shoulder fracture). This resulted in a total immobilization of the shoot. In addition, the conspiratorial positions of the actress on the vaccine against covid-19 has delayed her return to the sets.

The health situation of Letitia Wright remained incompatible with the demands of disney regarding technical staff and cast members. Thus, the date of the film has been temporarily pushed back to November 11, 2022.

The producer Nate Moore, regarding this postponement, was optimistic, announcing only that it could allow the filmmaker Ryan Coogler of “do your job better”. This long dead end Letitia Wright mobilized many fans who then launched a petition for the character of T’Challa be recast in the film. This could have corresponded with the wishes of Chadwick Boseman who had assured that he wanted the legacy of the character of Black Panther outlives him, in order to continue to inspire younger generations.

BBC News reported that the actress from Shuri, Letitia Wright, returned to the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to resume main shots again. The information has since been confirmed by disney. A relative of Letitia Wright consolidated these statements, assuring that she had fully recovered from her injuries. Regarding his apparently inclinations against the anti-COVID vaccine, there have never been any proven facts on this subject and his presence on the film sets may suggest (although nothing is sure) that she has passed the milestone of vaccination or that she is regularly tested by PCR.
