Volodymyr Zelensky’s car hit in kyiv

More fear than harm. A motorist rammed the vehicle carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky through kyiv. The head of state, at war with Russia, was not injured in the accident, his spokesman said overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. “In kyiv, an automobile collided with the car of the President of Ukraine and vehicles [de son] escort,” Serguiy Nikiforov said in a statement posted to Facebook Thursday at 1:22 a.m. local time.

“The doctors accompanying the president provided emergency assistance to the driver of the automobile and transferred him to an ambulance,” he continued. “The president was examined by a doctor, no serious injuries were detected. The police will investigate all the circumstances of the accident, ”he also said, without further details.

In his nocturnal televised address, the video of which was published shortly after the accident, Volodymyr Zelensky indicated that he had returned from the Kharkiv region, assuring that “almost the whole region has been liberated” since a lightning counter-offensive that had intended to dislodge Russian troops.
