Vodafone is giving almost all of its mobile phone customers a one-time gift of 500 GB on November 30, 2023. This gift is a one-time gift, so there will be no additional 500 GB extra in January 2024. But especially at Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the need for mobile data volume is significantly increased and this gift comes at just the right time. If the data gift is completely used up, customers will then automatically use the included volume included in the respective tariff again.

The additional data volume can be up to January 3, 2024 are consumed within Germany, so New Year’s greetings are also covered. However, the extra 500 GB is not available abroad; you have to use the 500 GB in Germany.
The additional data volume is activated as follows: From November 30, 2023 Mobile customers who have one of the tariffs intended for the campaign (GigaMobil, Red from 2014, GigaMobil Young, Young from 2016, Smart from 2013, FamilyCard, Red+ Kids, Red+ Allnet from 2015, VF Easy, Vodafone IN, CallYa) can. Excepted: CallYa Flex, the old tariffs before the reference years mentioned, customers with unlimited data volume), get the additional data volume via the “MeinVodafone” app. Customers with long-term contracts can also have the data gift activated by all employees in the Vodafone shops and on the customer hotline. CallYa customers, on the other hand, can only activate the data gift via the app.
Corporate customers also have the opportunity to use the data gift. You can receive 500 gigabytes of data volume for each desired participant in the eligible tariffs via the account manager responsible for you or via the hotline.
Unused data volume expires after January 3, 2024. If your eligible contract ends before January 3, 2024, the additional data volume will end at the same time.
You cannot share the additional data volume with your Red+ cards. The unused additional data volume does not go into your GigaDepot. 
Additional data volume also for customers of Otelo, Lidl, SIMon and in data tariffs
Mobile phone users who use the Vodafone network via another mobile phone provider sometimes also receive extra data volume from Vodafone. Otelo customers get 100 gigabytes of additional data. Lidl and SIMon mobile customers receive an additional 50 gigabytes.
In the Gigacube, Red+Data and Data Go data tariffs, customers will also receive 500 additional gigabytes until January 3, 2024, which will be automatically added to the promotion period. So you don’t have to unlock these 500 GB first.
