Vivo X80 Pro was one of the best smartphones released in Europe in 2022. Probably my favorite device of the year, with the best camera I’ve ever had a chance to test.
His successors, the Vivo X90 Series, were already presented in China at the end of November. And unsurprisingly, the worldwide launch will take place early next year.
Vivo X90 Series may launch globally on January 31
To date, there has been no official communication from Vivo regarding the official date for the worldwide launch of the devices. But in the last hours a poster appeared on Twitter that refers to the date of January 31.
It is recalled that this series of equipment had three smartphones in China: Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+. But the poster does not specify if the three will be presented globally, speaking only of the “series”.
The most powerful model of the previous generation, the Vivo X80 Pro+, was never introduced to global markets. And fans will want the Vivo X90 Pro+ to arrive in Europe this time.
Vivo X90 Pro+ is the highlight of this series of smartphones
This is the most interesting device in the line, equipped with a 50 MP main camera with the renowned 1” sensor, the Sony IMX989. Additionally, it has a 48 MP ultra-wide lens, a 50 MP telephoto lens, and a 64 MP periscope lens.

The battery is 4700 mAh, with 80 W charging and 50 W wireless. Something that is maintained compared to the previous generation. The terminal already comes with Android 13 from the factory.
As expected, the terminal is commanded by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Additionally, it has a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO4 screen, with 120 Hz, 2K resolution and an on-screen fingerprint sensor.
You should keep in mind that, for now, this poster is not official information. We will have to wait for confirmation from Vivo to find out if this date refers to the world presentation of the terminals.
