Vivo X Fold S: another foldable on the way with a top processor

The folding smartphone segment is booming with the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy models and the presentations scheduled for tomorrow of the Motorola Razr 2022 and Xiaomi MIX Fold 2.

Vivo will also enter the folding race with a new model: the X Fold S that comes with a top processor.

Vivo X Fold S arrives with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

In this hot month of August, the foldable smartphone segment is reaching very high temperatures with the launch of some of the most anticipated models of the year.

Samsung today presented its new Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 and tomorrow, August 11, Motorola will officially reveal the new Razr 2022 and Xiaomi the MIX Fold 2. But the more players venture into this segment, the more interesting it becomes. The race is on and Vivo intends to join the race with its new folding model X Fold S.

For now, very little is known about the terminal, but it is almost certain that the model will have the superior Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor at the controls. In this way, the fight could not be fairer, since all the smartphones mentioned in this article have the latest Qualcomm chip.

This terminal is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which, in turn, is combined with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage capacity.

It stands out for the huge 8.03-inch AMOLED main screen that provides a resolution of 2160×1916 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for HDR10 +. The equally large secondary display is 6.53-inches, has a 120Hz refresh rate, and a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels.

The quad rear camera setup is admirable with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide, a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and an eight-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom .
