According to the latest rumors, on April 20 the Chinese brand will hold a conference, in which it will present the X Fold 2, X Flip and Pad 2 folding tablet.
Vivo will present new products on April 20

It was already known that Vivo would soon present several new products. But now, on the Weibo social network, a user has revealed that the Chinese brand will hold a press conference in China on April 20.
It will be on this occasion that Vivo will officially launch the Pad 2 tablet and the folding smartphones X Fold 2 and X Flip. The latter will have a prominent place at the event, as it will be the first clamshell-shaped folding smartphone to be presented by the brand. What we already know about the Vivo X Fold 2
As its name suggests, the X Fold 2 is the successor to the foldable Vivo that features a similar style to the Samsung Z Fold 4. The new model from the Chinese brand will feature a glorious eight-inch AMOLED screen that will deliver a resolution of 2160×1916 pixels. and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
In turn, the secondary screen will also have a considerable size of 6.53 inches. It will have the same 120Hz refresh rate and 2520×1080 pixel resolution.
Inside will be the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage capacity. The model will be powered by a 4800 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 120 watts and wireless charging at 50 watts.
On the optical side, the X Fold 2 will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, complemented by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a telephoto sensor also with 12-megapixel resolution.
The model will arrive equipped with the V2 ISP image chip and two front cameras, both with 16-megapixel resolution.
What will the first Vivo X Flip and the Pad 2 tablet be like?
Some rumors have already advanced with various specifications of Vivo’s first folding case. Thus, the model is expected to integrate the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor that will work together with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The X Flip will have a 6.8-inch main screen that will offer Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also known that the model will feature the 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 as the main sensor and the 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 as an ultra-wide angle sensor.
As for the new Pad 2 tablet, it will feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 processor along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, the capabilities of which are still unknown.
The tablet will also feature a 12-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. Otherwise, it is only known that the Pad 2 will have a dual rear camera setup, but with sensors still in the secret of the gods.
