Vivo Watch GT 2 Offers Apple-Like Design, 33-Day Battery, DeepSeek AI for $63

Chinese electronics maker Vivo has unveiled its new Watch GT 2, featuring a design reminiscent of the Apple Watch, integrated DeepSeek AI capabilities, and an extended battery life of up to 33 days, positioning it as a significant challenger in the global smartwatch market.

The new smartwatch combines a premium aesthetic with advanced technology, aiming to attract users looking for high-end features at a competitive price point. Its aluminum alloy body and functional crown button bear a strong resemblance to leading smartwatches.

A key highlight is the integration of DeepSeek AI, which powers the device’s digital assistant. This allows users to receive real-time answers to queries directly from their wrist.

Battery performance varies by model, with the Bluetooth version offering up to an impressive 33 days of use on a single charge. The eSIM-enabled version provides up to 8 days of power from its smaller capacity battery.

The Watch GT 2 features a 2.07-inch AMOLED curved display, boasting a resolution of 432×514 pixels and a peak brightness of 2,400 nits. Weighing 35.6 grams, it is designed for comfortable daily wear.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC for seamless payments. The smartwatch also incorporates a built-in speaker and microphone, enabling direct calls from the wrist.

Health and fitness tracking are comprehensive, with over 100 sports modes available. Sensors monitor stress levels, sleep patterns, heart rate, and menstrual cycles, alongside alerts for excessive noise. Specialized features include an AI power coach for running, analysis of running posture, and a tennis mode to evaluate racket swings.

The device runs on Vivo’s BlueOS 3 software.

The Vivo Watch GT 2 is available in multiple colors, including pink, blue, Space White, and black. Pricing for the Bluetooth version starts at approximately $69, while the eSIM version is priced around $97.

The smartwatch was launched alongside other new Vivo devices, including the X300 series smartphones, the Pad 5e tablet, and the TWS 5 wireless headphones.
