Only one player, Emerson “desh” Enrique, remained on the roster from the previous iteration. Now, four fresh faces join him: Daniel “danoco” Morgado, Vinicius “vsm” Moreira, Lucas “CutzMeretz” Freitas, and Felipe “delboNi” Delboni. Matheus “KAOS” Nicolau also steps in as the team’s new coach. This move signals a strong intent from Vivo Keyd Stars to redefine its presence in the CS2 scene.

Flamengo’s Esports Pivot
The arrival of these players at Vivo Keyd Stars wasn’t just a happy coincidence. Around the same time, Flamengo made a strategic decision regarding its esports activities. The organization announced that FlaeSports would no longer compete in “shooter” game titles. This left their existing CS2 team without a home. Rafael “Patrón” Mendes, CEO of Medellin Games, the company managing Flamengo’s esports division, indicated that discussions about the future of the CS2 team would involve Bruno Henrique. Henrique, a well-known football player, also serves as an ambassador for FlaeSports in the shooter genre. This executive decision by Flamengo directly opened the door for these talented individuals to seek new opportunities, ultimately leading them to Vivo Keyd Stars.
