Before reaching the final, Vitality had a tough playoff match on Friday, May 10th. They faced FURIA in the ESL Pro League. FURIA, led by Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, managed to win the Overpass map with a 13-9 score. However, their win was short-lived. Vitality quickly turned the tide, scoring 13-7 on Inferno. They then sealed FURIA’s exit from the competition with another 13-7 win on Nuke. Vitality’s path to the championship showed their consistent strength against top contenders.
