Digital Chat Station announced on Weibo that the successor to the Honor 90 could have an even more eye-catching display with the new Visionox technology.
This is due to the screen design with a pill-shaped hole on the side shown on the new Visionox concept device.
Visionox showed the screen a new prototype device using “0.8mm BM Black Border” technology to reduce the borders to just 1.5mm thickeven in the corners.
The new panel is also rumored to support both DC and PWM dimming with a dimming frequency of up to 3,840 Hz. It also integrates LTPO technology for features like an always-on display and variable refresh rate, and has a resolution of 1. 5K
When this panel reaches Android smartphones, it could rival the Xiaomi 13 (or the next 14) in terms of screen bezel size. The Xiaomi 13 features a 1.61mm bezel, which is already one of the thinnest on an Android smartphone.
