A series of five Test matches will be played between India and England. This test series is currently 1:1. The third Test between India and England will be played from February 15. Both teams will compete against each other in Rajkot. At the same time, the Indian team for the final three Test matches of this series was announced. Virat Kohli is not in this 17-member Indian team. Actually, Virat Kohli is not supposed to play due to personal reasons.
Earlier, Virat Kohli was not part of Team India for the Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam Test. Before the India-England series began, Virat Kohli had decided to withdraw his name from the first two Test matches. Virat Kohli will not be able to play due to personal reasons. This is the first time in Virat Kohli’s 13-year Test career that the player failed to play even a single Test match.
The first Test between India and England was played in Hyderabad. In this Test, the British led by Ben Stokes defeated the Indian team by 28 runs. But after that, Team India managed a brilliant counterattack in the second Test. The Indian team defeated England by 106 runs in the Visakhapatnam Test. Now both teams will meet in Rajkot from February 15th. After that, the fourth Test will be played in Ranchi. For the final test, however, both teams will compete against each other in Dharamshala.
