The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had issued a non-cooperation directive against him. Thankfully, they lifted it just for ‘Border 2’. This means he can keep working on the film without issues.
B. N. Tiwari, the president of FWICE, spoke about this decision. He shared that T-Series made a special request. The production house explained that a big chunk of the movie had already been filmed. Changing actors at this point would mess up the actor pairing. It would also make completing the film much harder.
The initial trouble started because Diljit worked with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. This happened for his film ‘Sardar Ji 3’. This collaboration led to criticism. It also caused FWICE to put the ban in place. Despite these bumps, Diljit’s spirit on set shines through. He keeps sharing his happiness with fans.
