Viral ‘Thama’ Video: Ayushmann’s Vampire Swaps Blood for Golgappe

Horror-comedy "Thaama" premiered today, Monday, in cinemas. The film features a unique storyline centered around a vampire character.

The movie has opened strongly at the box office. It collected 14.76 crore rupees on its first day, which is approximately $1.77 million USD, according to Sacnilk.

Lead actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna have been generating buzz with their recent promotional activities. A social media video showing the pair on a dinner date has gone viral.

In the video, Ayushmann is seen in his vampire costume from the film. Breaking traditional lore, his vampire character is shown enjoying golgappe, a popular spicy Indian street snack, at midnight.

The film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is the latest installment in Maddock Production’s horror-comedy universe.

In addition to Khurrana and Mandanna, the cast includes veteran actors Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, along with Faisal Malik. A dance number by Malaika Arora also features in the movie.
