Violent operation of Israeli police in Al-Aqsa

Israeli police carried out violent raids on the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem during the holy month of Ramadan. At this time, Palestinian worshipers were attacked. At least 400 Palestinians were arrested.

Palestinian officials said at least 400 Palestinians were detained. They are being held in Israeli custody at a police station in Atarot in occupied East Jerusalem.

Palestinian witnesses said Israeli forces used stun grenades and tear gas. This makes it difficult for the worshipers to catch their breath. The police beat them with sticks and rifles.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said 12 people were injured in the incident. Three of them were sent to hospital.

The organization said in a statement that Israeli forces prevented its doctors from reaching al-Aqsa.
