The fate of Villarreal central defender Aissa Mandi could be determined in the coming hours, with the player set to join Saudi Arabian team Al-Kholood. This was confirmed by journalist Samir Djabali.
The 32-year-old Algerian international, currently contracted with Villarreal, has featured in 22 matches for the club last season and may be considering an exit following recent midfield reorganization.
Villarreal has recently reinforced their defensive line with the additions of Willy Kambwala this summer and Eric Bailly in January.
