According to Pinkvilla, Vikrant Massey said, “After starting television at just 24 years old, I earned around Rs 35 lakh every month.” For a middle-class family, this is a huge amount. Everything was going well for me, but I still decided to give up television and turn to cinema. Vikrant further shared that his savings went down due to which his phase of stress started. During this time, Sheetal Thakur (who was his girlfriend then and is now his wife) started giving him money from her savings so that he could go for the audition.
In 2007, Vikrant Massey started his acting career with the serial Dhoom Machao Dhoom. However, she gained popularity through the popular show of that time, Balika Vadhu. After that, he worked in serials like Baba Aiso Var Dhundho, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Kabul Hai and Dharam Veer. In 2013, Vikrant Massey made his Bollywood debut with the film Lootera, which starred Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha. After that, Vikrant worked in films and web series like Haseen Dilruba, Mirzapur, Forensic, Ginny Weds Sunny, 14 Phere, Love Hostel, Half Girlfriend, Gaslight and 12th Fail.
